When do you give up on trying to make a problem better?

When is it ok?

I wish I could make the people I love be happy. Or at least make them get along. The world can get messed up and it is up to us as the bystanders to make it better. To see the problem and move to fix it, or at least help to fix it.

But if everyone had this view on life there would be no problems for us bystanders to fix.
