☂Finally!

I finally finished Who Has Seen the Wind... for the second time... it was painful! Now I am reading Flowers For Algernon (FFA) which is pretty good so far. I am about half way through it and it's due friday! Hope I get it done! I do have to admit that reading and drawing have not been on the top of my priority list lately... but I am trying to get back in the swing of things!

So far I really like the perspective that FFA is told in. It really gives you a chance to see the developments in his mind!

Since this is my last school book of the year I have to start planning my next read! I am thinking Silence of the Lambs:P
O wait! I still haven't finished The Secret Life of Bees (which I borrow from Ish and haven't given back:S)

i like the book

it's just not worth reading twice! well i guess it is. I just am not doing good with the reading lately! I have been either too tired or more entertained by my art.

☂Who Has Seen the Wind 2

I was reading it again this morning and since we studied To Kill a Mockingbird this year it is drilled into my head and I was comparing the two books. They are so very similar. In their story lines and in the way that the towns in both of the novel function. Maybe it's just the same in all small towns at that time period but they are too similar in a way. And maybe I am just being too critical. I dunno.

☂Who Has Seen the Wind

For the second time, I am reading Who Has Seen the Wind. I really like it and it is the cutest thing ever! Although not as good as the similar subjected novel To Kill a Mockingbird, it has quite a place in my heart. Especially since it is Canadian and based in the prairie, which happens to be one of my favorite places on earth. 

The childish conversations are my favorite part. The multiple subjects all combined to perfectly display how a child thinks. 

Even though I have read it before,  I do not fully remember what happens and so I will post again when I finish.
