☂slept until 1 pm

Today I finally had the time to sleep in and regain my energy that I had lost from moving and being on my feet for like 12 hours straight both monday and tuesday. I slept until 1 pm and then I lounged around until we had to go out for a major "just moved in so we have absolutely no food" safeway trip. It was intense. The cart was full to the max. I felt like we were hoarders. It was fabulous!
I have to either start painting my room tomorrow or I have to organize my closet. I haven't decided which one I will do but I might be going out tomorrow night so I want to have SOME energy to be alive at the gathering. That is if people get with the program and actually end up going. And if I can get a ride lol
I can't wait to paint my room dark blue and white. It'll look awesome. waaayyyyyy better than the barf worthy pink AND purple that it is now. and not that it can get any better. but there is a wall with like sponged purple on the pink. ew
This weekend is the big dragon boating weekend! four races over three days which is not that intense at all but it is a lot of fun. and I get to go over to janelle's for a girls night. and kyra will be in town by then. and all my friends will be IN TOWN for like the first time this summer.
I have to organize what is happening with my birthday party... since it should happen sooner rather than later because I am going to alberta on the 15th.

ooo and i forgot to mention that my new house was built in the 20's by a jewish family and it has a mezuzah in the front doorframe! A mezuzah is a prayer in a little case thing that is supposed to be put in every doorframe of a house to protect it and you are supposed to touch it every time that you enter the room.

☂Dragon Boating and boys in dresses!

My little buddy next door loved his dress! He put it on as soon as he opened it and he river danced for us and he twirled around the hallway! It was so cute! haha Everyone laughed so hard that he got a little embarrassed and he told us to stop laughing at him haha but of course he was too cute not to laugh! I can so see him prancing around the house in his mum's heels and his new dress tomorrow! His dad will be thrilled! 

Dragon boating practice was today and it went really well I thought. I was in the second row this time and I like being near the front way better because you have less people in front of you that can mess you up! We only have one more practice and then we have the tournament which is over three days. We are guaranteed four races so it should be a blast. Plus on the saturday we have two races and in between them the whole team gets hammered! Except me of course lol my mum would kill me!

After practice we went out to the tony romas bar and hung out for a couple hours. I got to finish off some wine glasses and have some sips of beer lol. My mum says that the team is a bad influence on me. It's true though! I spent the whole time talking to one of the guys about various things and bugging my mum with the girls. They are great at helping me out with bending the rules! haha. They are the ones that convinced my mum I needed a later bedtime and that I need more freedom lol. It's pretty kick ass!

We are all going out bowling on thursday haha but my mum can't even come! I am getting picked up by a team member! It should be a blast! Especially since i have known everyone since I was like 9 haha!
